2010 Nissan Sentra Under 15000

Tuesday 15 March 2011

The 2010 Nissan Sentra 2.0 manufacturer suggested retail price starts at $15,420 and consumers keeping on the lookout for some great incentives and rebates as well as special pricing sales events to bring the price of these new cars under $15,000 should likely not have far to go this time of year.

For example one of the notable transactions which occurred is a really great example of some good timing on the part of the consumer who shared some feedback with us regarding their purchase of a new 2009 Nissan
Sentra which they had their eye on after doing a decent amount of research on safe, fuel efficient sedans.

This was a new 2009 Nissan Sentra and the timing was great as far as the Cash for Clunkers incentive as well as the factory rebate and a dealership that was willing to make a year end type deal. This combination will simply fuel the interest of the prospective new car buyer and the savings are genuinely impressive.

At the time the rebate which Nissan was offering was $2,000 and with this applied plus the $4,500 Cash for Clunkers for the trade in and the dealer agreed to take an additional $620 off of the price. Ultimately bringing the drive away price to just over $13,000 including tax, title, and all other fees and this was by far the best deal they had found.

Up to this point they had done a quite a bit of shopping around the area and online as well. Basically nothing else even came close to this particular deal but it does pave the way to a different way of approaching the idea of the incentive as an effective sales tool as many dealerships take a closer look at this concept. Obviously this benefits the consumer because it means better deals. In combination with extremely low interest rates comparatively speaking the time to buy is when the incentives are being offered and usually they is done on limited time intervals.

Obviously influential prices like this do not happen everywhere but they are out there. Since the Cash for Clunkers incentive program through the government has long since ended there are quite a few small and large dealers out there who are making similar incentives part of their overall sales strategy. As we have mentioned before the prices and special incentives will be in favor of the buyer until there is consistent stabilization and growth in the economy.

Built around the 2.0 liter I4 DOHC 16V FI 140 horsepower 4 cylinder engine the Sentra comes with the option of a six speed manual transmission or the automatic transmission. The manual transmission receives a 2010 new car EPA rating of twenty six miles per gallon city and thirty four miles per gallon highway which fares quite well in fuel efficiency as far as the relative competition goes.

The Sentra in its various option packages provides well as a fuel efficient new car which delivers on safety appointments as well. Owners consistently mention how they look forward to driving their Sentra every chance they get. Overall the acceleration is full of pep and the braking performance gives an additional feel of sporty control. Just as a performance car handles the steering provides tight stable cornering.

Basics include air conditioning with in-cabin micro filter, power windows, power door locks, six standard air bags which include roof-mounted curtain side-impact supplemental air bags. The 2.0SL model offers the optional Rockford Fosgate eight speaker audio system which includes two subwoofers, two six by nines, and four two and a half inch mid range tweeters for the audio buffs.
