2011 Audi A3 details emerge on the web! A3 Plus coming in 2013!

Of course, all of us expected this but due to the lack of information nobody talked about it! So here it is: the new Audi A3 is expected to make its official debut in mid-2011. As the current version, the new A3 will be available in three version: coupe, sportback and cabrio. The first version which will be revealed is of course, the coupe version, closely followed by the sportback in 2012. The cabrio version is expected to come by the end of 2012. Why?

Because the Audi A3 Cabrio wasn't the hit that the German manufacturer expected it's way too expensive, it comes without the quattro system and honestly it doesn't look too good either (we can't say the same thing about the Audi A3 Cabrio by Caractere)!

The big surprise will be at the A3 Plus, which will look more like a four-door coupe, inspired by the Mercedes-Benz CLS. All the versions will feature the start-stop technology, energy regenerating brakes, low-rolling resistance tires and fuel efficient gearboxes. Under the hood we will find the 2.0-liter TFSI engine developing 211 hp or more but also a fuel efficient 90 hp diesel engine. The S3 version will feature a 280 hp engine capable to generate over 350 Nm.[via autobild]
