2011 Geneva Motor Show: 2012 Kia Rio

You didn't think that Kia would forget the Rio did you? In all of the hype surrounding the rest of Kia's lineup, it's easy to forget the little Rio, but here's proof that it has seen some attention from the design staff. Most obvious is the Kia family grille that is integrated with the headlamps here. And then there are those giant fog-lamp ducts....
The 2012 Kia Rio is longer and wider, but 15mm shorter than the Rio it replaces. This new longer/wider/shorter Rio will be offered in Europe in September as a 5-door and in early 2012 as a 3-door with a 1.1-liter diesel or a high-performance 1.2-liter GDI motor.
